MOUNTAIN VENUES

THE SNOWPARK TERRACE

Enjoy a slice of pizza and an ice-cold stein teamed with table-top dancing, springtime sunshine and a spectacular soundtrack provided by the biggest SB hitters.

How to get there: we recommend skiing if you can as it’s much more accessible that way. Alternatively, you can take the chairlift from the top of the Horbergbahn then walk roughly 100m across the slope.

Please note: you must leave this venue by 16:15 at the Knorren Tal to make it in time for the last lift from the Penkenbahn (17:00). Alternatively, a return trip via the Horbergbahn would be better (last lift at 17:00). If you miss the last lifts, you will need to cross the mountain which has been tricky in the past.

THE PILZ BAR

Witness the heights and delights of the Alps from our sky high venue – the finest views you’ll find at any festival! It’s the literal peak of Snowbombing, our Snolympic Games and Chairlift Speed-dating starting point, the place for Beer Pong and endless fun and games!

How to get there: this venue is easily accessible via walking from the top of the Penkenbahn lift.

Please note: the Penkenbahn lift runs between 08:00 – 17:00.

ROMPA’S REGGAE SHACK

Stop in your tracks – it’s Rompa’s Reggae Shack! Your daily dose of dub is back to dominate the mountains with everything reggae, roots and rasta with a rum punch in hand.

How to get there: Rompa’s Reggae Shack is now located at The Kasermandl. If you’re coming up the Penkenbahn gondola from Mayrhofen, once you’re at the top, jump onto the next lift called the Kombibahn, and at the top of that, the Kasermandl is 30m across the snow in front of you.

MOUNTAINTOP BRUNCH @ THE PILZ BAR

We’re bringing a wave of pure refreshment to 5 après afternoons of brunches hosted by world-class artists and entertainers. Think tables of fellow Snowbombers, platters of the finest Austrian cuisine and flowing drinks, while you enjoy a sensational soundtrack, singalongs, silly games and majestic mountain views hosted by the most sought-after entertainers on the festival circuit. This feast on the piste is truly a feast for the senses!

How to get there: this venue is easily walkable from the top of the Penkenbahn ski lift.

THE PENKEN TERRACE

Ever dreamed of doing the downward dog on the side of a mountain? Zen out every morning with our Alpine Yoga sessions at a sky-high location. Break out your best king dancer pose at the peak of the mountains every morning and ease up those joints for a day on the slopes. Namaste.

How to get there: this venue is at the top of the Penkenbahn ski lift and is easily accessible via walking.

THE BOARDPARK

Behind the Snowpark Terrace sits The Boardpark, the ultimate fun and games utopia where snowboarders, skiers and spectators can unite. The Boardpark will host the Ride & Seek activities across the week, where you can rock up and compete in the Boardercross, The Pond Skim, Shred Sleds and The Pro-Comp.
